Act of Kindness

A glue-sniffing girl begs for your help at dusk on a deserted railway platform. You search through your handbag to find you don’t have any change. The girl beseeches you. What do you do? What can you do? Your train appears like a phantom out of the fog. As the train pulls in to the station you hear her cry:

‘Excuse me, but don’t I know you? We’ve been in love forever?’

You are about to lose the girl you found on platform one.
